Abstract


DEDE KORKUT 13TH EPIC “SALUR KAZAN'S KILL SEVEN-HEADED DRAGON UN ALEX OLRIK INVESTIGATION IN THE CONTEXT OF EPIC LAWS
The Book of Dede Korkut, which can be described as the most widely studied text of the Turkish world, is a historical source of primary importance for both history and linguistics. The book Dede Korkut, which the researchers are working on, contains epic Turkish stories called “Oğuzname”. There are two books of Dede Korkut, originally found in the libraries of Dresden and the Vatican. There are 12 stories in Dresden and 6 stories in Vatican. Dede Korkut Book, which has been the subject of hundreds of researches both in terms of its great importance for the Turkish world and its value as a world heritage, has been welcomed with great pleasure in the Turkish world in the recent days. Before the publication of the 13th neck of Dede Korkut, we had some information about the existence of this neck. Azerbaijani nationalists published in Berlin 'Open Speech' magazine Ilkteşrin, in the 3rd issue of 1936 and in the issue of 'Bakinskiy Raboçiy', published in Baku, on August 4, 1936, Dede Korkut was among the writings of Professor Bekir Çobanzade. had thirteenth story. In this study, it is aimed to examine Dede Korkut's Third Manuscripts - Repetitions and Two New Sizes and Turkmen Sahara Copy in accordance with Alex Olrik's Epic Rules. In the study of narratives of different societies, Alex Olrik Epic Laws, which are put forward as a common method to follow, aim to unite these narratives on a common ground and leave them to humanity as a world heritage. We are trying to contribute to Turkish culture and world heritage by examining the newly found Turkmen Sahara Copy of the Book of Dede Korkut which is very important in terms of Turkish culture.
