Abstract


HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT POLICIES IN ENTELECTURAL CAPITAL: SÜLEYMAN DEMİREL UNIVERSITY SAMPLE
In today’s world, importance of intellectual capital, that is non material whole abstract values organisations have in competing areas, gradually increasing especially for private sectors. Values like knowledge, experience, technological infrastructure, guest relations, human capital accumulation etc. that means intellectual capital is a factor which enables correct management of organisations. Also, these items provide revelation of its real value for organisations against their rivals and a sustainable structure. Such implications which are claimed for private sectors can be suggested for state institutions and organisations With this study, the inventory of the 25-year intellectual capital of Süleyman Demirel University, established in 1992 has generally been presented within the qualitative analysis method. Accordingly, the staff who worked at the senior management level academically and administratively were particularly selected as the sample in the mentioned period. The descriptive quality analysis has been used in the study. Face-to-face interviews were held with the academic and administrative staff who have taken charge in the university for 25 years or have recently been retired. After that, the effect of the 25-year human resources policy on the intellectual capital was evaluated totally in six periods. Consequently, a relationship has been found between policies on human resources management and intellectual capital.
