Abstract


FERTILITY AND SOCIETY PERCEPTION MURSHID-İ KAMİL HÜSEYİN DOĞAN DEDE AS A MODEL PERSON IN ALEVISM
Alevism became a love and oneness school which includes deep meaning, in this lands. From this point of; many people have been trained in Anatolia's tolerent environment and mysticism and have served in the spirit of these lands. Murshid-i Kamil Hüseyin Doğan Dede who is the Son of Ağuiçen Ocağı (Evlad-ı Resul) had educated in this school, seen the dissolution of Ottoman Empire and witnessed to establishment of Turkish Republic, captured the hearts of not only people of Alevi Society, but also Sunni citizens. Hüseyin Doğan Dede was born at an arable field Şıhıs in Elazığ on 1902, had served both for his belief and country, for 81 years of his life until walked to Hak. His house at Kırlangıç village in Yesilyurt district in Malatya, entertains the visitors nowadays. Hüseyin Doğan Dede, who grows up with the integrative and loving texture of Alevism, has always assumed the "Referee Role" in social and individual affairs. For this reason, his personality has become a "model" in social integration and especially in the "avoiding offences" in Alevis-Sunni relations. In this article; Besides relaying of Hüseyin Doğan Dede’s Life, we aim to explain his "integrative personality" by way of Dogan Dede's perception of individual and society. We had the opportunity to observe that it was a popular believer in the region by both Alevis and Sunnis. Malatya and its environs, Doğan Dede vizyons being still a popular and respected figure shows that her unifying vision is continuing.
