Abstract


THE NEW FACE OF MANAGEMENT: AN INVESTIGATION ON THE PERCEPTION AND EXPECTATION OF THE MANAGEMENT STYLE OF Z
Management can be defined as the art and science of bringing together all resources, except human beings and human beings, in the best possible way and making the best use of them in the direction of organizational goals. Rapidly changing economic order requires many innovations in the management field as well as in many areas. At the beginning of these requirements is a human resource that can keep up with the ever-changing and evolving landscape. In this competitive environment it is possible to keep pace with the conditions of time and the pace of development with the human resource that understands the time and understands the requirements of the time. The appropriate human resource can also be obtained from the younger generation of young people who have recently attracted attention with their mechanical intelligence and perceived level of perception. The purpose of this research is to determine the perception of the management style in the direction of individual characteristics of this generation which is believed to have the promise of the new era in management by completing their education by their ages and to determine the anticipations that are against the management level of this generation. With this research, the opinions about the management concept and management philosophy of the Z generation members who are betting will be determined and suggestions will be presented to generation members regarding the management stage and the related generation structures. At the end of the research, it can be said that autocratic management style is not adopted by Z generation and it is the last one among the expectations. Easygoing management style was determined as a dimension of participation after the democratic management style. In the analysis of the average and standard deviation values of the management style dimensions, the highest mean democratic management style is pointed out.
