Abstract


INFLUENCE OF TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP ON INNOVATION AND INNOVATION CULTURE: A FIELD RESEARCH ON THE LARGE-SCALE ENTERPRISES
Our age’s culture is culture of innovation. Innovation is the most effective way for enterprises to gain competitive advantage in a rapidly changing and developing World. In this context, the main point that needs to be emphasized in terms of innovation is to create a culture that will support the innovation of all employees in the institution. To create and spread innovation culture in enterprises necessitates transformational leadership that creates a broad vision and shares this vision, supports creativity with intellectual incentive, motivates employees with inspirational motivation and achieves the necessary innovation. From this point of view, it will examine the influence of transformer leadership on innovation and innovation culture in large-scale enterprises operating in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone (one of Turkey's top 500 major industrial corporations) will be examined by showing to what extent managers have transformative leadership qualities and generalize innovation culture. As a result of the analysis, it has been shown that transformative leadership has a significant effect on innovation level and innovation culture.
