One of the most important aims of education is to educate individuals who have gained the answers of our age. All of these skills give people the necessary equipment to be successful in their lives. One of these skills is communication skills. The most important step that will bring this skill to the individual is the school. Develops personal communication skills in schools which have a mini society model. It is very important for our teachers here to gain their communication skills. This study aims to reveal the levels of pre-service teachers’ communication skills and to analyze whether these skills vary according to sub-dimensions of “Communication Skills Scale” and several variables (gender, department, GPA, mother’s educational status, father’s educational status, family income status, the area of residence before starting the university). Document review technique was used in the research. The study group of the research consisted of a total of 448 pre-service teachers, including 312 female and 136 male pre-service teachers studying at various departments of Akdeniz University Faculty of Education in the 2018-2019 academic year. During the research, necessary permissions were obtained in order to use “Communication Skills Scale” which was developed by Akkuzu and Akkaya (2014) with a view to identifying the levels of communication skills of pre-service teachers. Statistical software was used in the analysis of the data. When the research results were evaluated, it was seen that the average level of communication skills of pre-service teachers was high and their level of communication skills were not correlated with the independent variables of gender, department and the educational status of father. However, it would be safe to say that significant correlation was observed between the levels of communication skills and the variables of GPA, mother’s educational status, family income status and the area of residence before starting the university.
