ROMANTİK BİR VİYANA YAZI’NDA POSTMODERN UNSURLAR

Özet

Adalet Ağaoğlu, Türk toplumunun kabuk değiştirme sürecine tanıklık etmiş bir isimdir. Buna, yazarın entelektüel kimliği ve sorumluluk duygusu da eklenmiş ve Ağaoğlu her romanında bu değişimin farklı boyutlarına odaklanmıştır. İlk romanlarında birey merkezli arayışlardan yola çıkarak toplumsal olguları yargılayan yazar, zaman içinde üslûp ve şekil bakımından da arayışlar içine girer. Gelinen noktada, çağdaş felsefi ve edebi ekolleri de deneyen yazarın, karar kıldığı nokta önemlidir. Ağaoğlu artık, teknoloji çağının “parçalanmış” bireyini, kopuk ve parçalanmış anlatılar aracılığıyla tahlil edecektir.
ROMANTİK Bir Viyana Yazı, Ağaoğlu’nun karar kıldığı noktayı işaret eden önemli eserlerindendir. Roman kahramanlarının “dağınık ve parçalanmış” bireyleri örneklediği bu romanda, klasik roman anlayışının tüm unsurlarını yıkma çabası söz konusudur. Örneğin zaman ve mekân mefhumları, romanda, kaygan zeminlerde ve soyut düzlemlerde tahlil edilir. Dolayısıyla romanın tematik boyutunun, boşluk ve bilinmezlik üzerine kurulu olduğunu söylemek olasıdır. Yazar; dil, şekil ve üslûp oyunları ile beslediği bu tavrını, okur adına yapması bakımından da amacına odaklıdır. Okur da bu çağın bir üyesi olduğuna ve romanda yaşanan vak’alardan farklı şeyler yaşamadığına göre, romanla kuracağı etkileşim sağlam olacaktır. O, okuduğu metin aracılığıyla kendi yaşamını değerlendirdiğinde, hayatı daha anlamlı yaşamanın yollarını arayacaktır.
Çalışmada Ağaoğlu’nun klasik roman algısını yıkarken yerine ne koyduğu konusuna odaklanılmıştır. Bu nedenle postmodern algı ve edebi esere yansıma biçimi çalışmanın temel meselesidir.

Abstract

Adalet Ağaoğlu is a name who has witnessed the changing process of Turkish society. The author’s intellectual identity and sense of responsibility were added to this, and Ağaoğlu focused on different dimensions of this change in her every novel. In her early novels, the author, who judges social facts based on individual-centered searches, also searches in terms of style and form over time. The point at which the author, who also experimented with contemporary philosophical and literary schools, came to a decision is important. Ağaoğlu will now analyze the “shattered” individual of the technological age through disconnected and shattered narratives.
Romantik Bir Viyana Yazı is one of Ağaoğlu’s works that exemplifies the point she has decided on. In this novel, in which the protagonists exemplify "disorganized and shattered" individuals, there is an attempt to destroy all elements of the classical understanding of the novel. For example, the concepts of time and space are analyzed on slippery grounds and abstract planes in the novel. Therefore, it is possible to say that the thematic dimension of the novel is based on emptiness and obscurity. The author focuses on her purpose in the sense that she does this on behalf of the reader, which she supports with language, form and stylistic games. Because the reader is also a member of this age and didn’t live through different things from those that happened in the novel, the bond that the reader will have with the novel will be strong. When the reader reviews his/her life through the text being read, the reader will search for ways to live life more meaningfully.
What Ağaoğlu has put in place while destroying the classic novel concept has been focused on this work. Therefore, postmodern concept and literary reflection style are the main issues of this work.
